LPHA joins the Lao lunar new year celebrations by participating in Luang Prabang’s processions in mid-April. LPHA members wear their finest clothing to celebrate the holiday bringing joy and prosperity in the new year. Sok Dii Pii Mai Der!
Vietnam LifeStyle 2015 – LPHA participates in the regional home decor and gift show from 18 – 21 April in Ho Chi Minh City. The association is one out of 500 exhibitors at the fair attracting customers worldwide. Shoppers come for sustainable and distinct products, a testament to LPHA members’ goods.
Onsite Weaving/Natural Dyeing – LPHA organises exhibits in several locations in Luang Prabang town about handwoven textile production and natural dyeing. The exhibition housed in the theatre of the National Museum – Luang Prabang highlights Lao ceremonial dress. Weaving and dyeing demonstrations will be held at Huean Chan Heritage House on the same lane as Puang Champa House, the home to the Lao Artisans Cafe &Lifestyle Shop. Lessons are also planned.
